Pirkka Åman at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology and Musiquitous, looks at various platforms for location based music services with research and design-oriented goals: to develop new kinds of music service concepts and gather expert knowledge about these features. Three main concepts: "Sounds of Helsinki," "Musical Geocaching," and "Musical hotspots/Soundtrails." How to appropriate social/public space with sounds. He ends with a series of questions directed to the audience: Feasibility of the concepts? Who & Why, In what kind of situations would you want to use these kind of services? The best concept/most feasible? Additional features?
