Links for the HUMlab workshops

Tomorrow's workshop at Umeå University will focus on creating sculpties and importing them into Second Life. There are indeed a number of applications to choose from, but we will begin by using a very basic and free one, Rokuro. It is available in both Mac and PC format and can be downloaded here: http://kanae.net/secondlife/rokuro09/index.html

Thursday's workshop will centre on creating textures for the sculpties made the day before. A texture grid can be downloaded here.

Here are links to the Second Life/AC3D basic objects (with a correct number of vector points): Sculpty-cylinder, Sculpty-sphere, and Sculpty-subdcube. Try right-clicking on the links and the files should start to download.
