Dreamweaver II - Create a Basic CSS Layout

A good beginner's tutorial: Stefan Mischook's CSS (It has a pretty good 14 minute video introduction to CSS as well.)

Today's Assignment: The first step is to create a basic webpage (in Dreamweaver) and tweak it with the help of the above tutorial. Your webpage should have an embedded CSS where you change the font, size and colour of the text. You should also specify the placement of your text using "navigation". The above is the basics, and as a second step I would want you to go beyond the basics. You are to incorporate another, a bit more advanced, CSS feature of your own choice to your webpage (please check the tutorials online). The content on this week's webpage is a tutorial you create of how you complete this assignment, and the feature of your own choice is of course to be explained most thoroughly. Please include screenshots, then upload your webpage and send the link to my e-mail at the end of class today.

If you need things explained in other ways or if you need help to find other CSS features, you can start by taking a look at the following tutorials: There are many, many more, however, and I would suggest that you google for "CSS tutorial" or "CSS tips" and you will find thousands.
