To Be Ordered

An increasing number of Asian students on our courses calls for a hightened awareness of cross-cultural mapping. I've talked about this with my colleagues, and right now I'm chatting with Robert Sharl at UCE Birmingham on Skype on the same topic.

He has taught a lot in Asia lately - in Bangkok, Singapore and Hongkong - and has experienced both similarities and differences, smooth rides and cultural clashes while being there. He suggests two books on the topic, The Geography of Thought and The Quantum and the Lotus.
